disco 3 engine
I have a Disco 3 2005 TDV6 2.7 HSE. Who makes te engine, I am told it is a ford mondeo engine?

joint collab with Ford and Pug - never fitted to the mondeo, but fitted (in various forms) to jag and pug 607 I think.

Fitted to varients of Peugeot 407 and Citroen C6 as well as Jags and LR. Not aware of it appearing in any Ford though.

The engine is a Ford/Peugeot design, built by Ford at Dagenham and supplied to Land Rover, Jaguar, Peugeot and Ford Australia. The TDV8 was built there too, but the new FFRR TDV8 is built in Mexico, a small version of the new F150 engine (but based on our TDV6).
