As you know all the ECM's need to communicate as so most of the displayed faults will be a symptom of the main issue. (Cascade) You could try another diagnostic tool and see if there it helps but my guess is the "real fault" is not being recognised by the tool you're using now. Sounds a bit familiar yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

I'm a fair distance away from you but usually in Cumbernauld a couple of times a week if you're ever up that neck of the woods happy to plug in the IID to see what it throws up.

Still need to keep looking for what may be wrong meantime as cannot use the car the way it is.
Really should invest in an IID as you say, just had a look on Fleabay and there are a few on there.‘Everyday is a school day!’

My Diagnostics is usually very good, its up to date and less than a year old but not specific to LR.
If you are anywhere further south soon please just let me know.... Cheers ‘Everyday is a school day!’

Have a look on here too David but they go quickly. Make sure it's a BT! In the meantime you could have a look at the steering angle sensor and just be satisfied the collar is turning with the column shaft. Pointless really pulling wiring plugs apart as your dtc"s seem to provide no direction, I have seen your dtc's on another car but it drove fine yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

I did have a look earlier Den, there was nothing that i could see but I will keep an eye open to see if i can get one, hopefully get one soon.
I will check the Steering angle sensor tomorrow, you never know, i did have a look underneath at the ABS sensors and couldn't really see any issues, will try and get it on the ramps tomorrow to get a better look.‘Everyday is a school day!’

So i stuck my machine on and the steering angle is registering correctly as you turn the steering one way or another, assuming that this would mean that this is not the issue Den?‘Everyday is a school day!’

David that's probably OK then, but a visual of the steering angle sensor will always confirm slippage if its present. You will likely have to bite the bullet and get an IID as its a prerequisite if you're going to continue doing the maintenance yourself, and will make your life a lot easier too!
Do you still have your previous D3? If so we could steal a few bits off that yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

I am on the look out for an IID now, I see them direct from the suppliers and also from some of the UK distributors, none on the forum at the moment but i will keep checking.
The old D3 has been away for some time now Den, although as they are getting older there are a few 'spares cars' for sale, so maybe worth keeping an eye out for one of those....‘Everyday is a school day!’
