Disco 3 with multiple lights on and suspension inop

So i have just bought my 3rd Disco after 10 months with something else, low and behold it is like a Xmas tree already, suspension is on it's A***, the abs light is on, DSC on, Suspension light on, brake light on, parking light on and i have no speedo. The HDC fault, system not available kicks on straight away once the system is doing its checks as well!

So far i have stripped the TCCM, one of the plugs was corroded, i cleaned this all up and checked inside the module but this looked all good.

Having put it all back together and cleared the codes i am still stuck with lights on and although i can get the suspension to raise for a few seconds as soon as i drive off it lowers.

There are 3 codes that will not clear, ATCM & 2 on the body control module, i will attach screen dump.

Any tips for me to work on to get the car going again?

Thanks In Advance

Hi D welcome back to the looney zone Laughing

Do you know if the battery is strong? Also, you might also try swapping out the compressor relay and see if that helps.

Hi Den,

Hope you are keeping well, vowed i was not buying another but here we are, i must need my head examined....apart from the faults it was good to drive one again, even with the suspension on the floor it was still nice.

The battery looks newish, however i suspect it is not the correct size as the bracket that holds it in place does not hold down the battery as there is a gap, will check the ampage on it to double check in the morning.

With regards to the compressor relay, i assume that's under the bonnet next to the other relays?

The battery needs to be 90 Ah minimum, if its less than that I'd change it for 100 Ah. Halfords do a Yuasa (HSB019) with 5 yr warranty but there are cheaper options too.

So the battery is 88AH, looks like a new battery as well, guessing this will be OK?
Tested the relay and it is all good as well.
I can get the suspension to raise for a few seconds when it 1st starts up, but then it stops and when i drive off it lowers, the HDC fault system not available kicks on straight away once the system is doing its checks as well, Don't know if this is relevant?

What diagnostics are you using? I'm thinking the codes you posted would not cause the "Christmas tree" lights . A faulty brake light switch as well a steering angle sensor fault could be relevant but there should be be supporting codes! You really need to be using dedicated ME diagnostics for this level of ECM interrogation!

I am using a MAC Tools machine Den, As discussed way back i need an all rounder for my other cars.
Could we have a faulty ABS sensor or back connection that is causing the ABS light and the knock on effect is that everything else is playing silly Censored ?
