Odd one for sure, I remember years ago my cousins Ford Escort getting broken into by removing the screen and seal, can't really think anyone would try that these days though with a bonded screen being fitted.

There was a thread on here recently where someone had the top screen trim coming away, possibly due to a slight mis-alignment of the screen when fitted, has yours been replaced in the recent past?
As CFB says, it seems an unlikely (and hard) way to try to break in, I'm sure there are easier ways for those so inclined Clive
Some scrote tried to break in the rear of mine by prising the glass out - but failed leaving some minor damage to the paintwork - then they smashed the glass w rs Mark.
