Disco 4 Air Con Problem

Im sure there will be a historic thread for air con problems. My car is fully gassed with correct pressure and is holding the charge but no cooling. No engine load or compressor sounds. Any help would be appreciated. Im a new owner so don't have much knowledge. Thanks

Have you checked that your pollen filter is not blocked?

Cheers

Hi, yes pollen filter new, fuse62 intact. All good but no cooling, no load in engine, AC light lit on the push button on console.

May be the pressure switch? Or compressor clutch?

Turned out to be low gas. Clutch, pressure switch and pollen filter all checked and were ok. Gas level was low. Added gas via Halfords bottle system and all good

It was short of gas, that’s why it didn’t cool. Had about 8psi in the system. Needed to have at least 25psi
Now has about 35psi so working and cooling well
