Paddle shift question

Don't know if this has been done, or possible...

I fancy the paddle shifters from a D4 but want to retain my D3 wheel does anyone know if this is possible (aware of switch packs from BBS).

Dont think the cowel will fit from a D4 wheel to a D3 wheel Thumbs Up
 Discovery 3 se gone
Range rover sport supercharged here:)
