can any tell me which bank is which? on my disco3 4.4v8
ie: sitting in car bank 1 on the left bank 2 on the right or the other way round?

Hi on vee engines bank one is the side which number one cyl starts, i.e. the cyl which is further most to the front. so number one will be slightly more forward than number two.
