My Disco in action
I have been lurking for a while and received my D3 a few weeks back. I took her for a spin in the dunes last week and had a blast. Totally diffenert in the dunes than my D2 V8...far more of a challenge
See also a few pics of friends that joined us and my old D2 being driven by its new owner

Is he really trying to lift a 2.7t D3.....?
Thats my brother-in-law. I was stuck and no matter what I did it would not budge....and can you believe his lift actually gave me enough traction to back off the hill !! 2007 TDV6 HSE

[quote="Andrew van den Heever"]hey DiscoWest. Welcome. A D3 in Atlantis Dunes, what a pleasure!
Hi Andrew....thanks
She sure is fun in the dunes but make take a bit of practice to master diesel in the sand as I have always had petrol vehicles in the past.....just put foot and fly!! No I have to worry about keeping the turbo on song up the big dunes which proved interesting
Tell me, are you able to lock either of the diffs? In my old D2 I would always lock the CDL and found it a huge help in the sand. My D3 never once locked either the centre or rear locks AFAIK...2007 TDV6 HSE
