Hopefully didn’t nudge the side steps as they are proud of the wheel arch aren’t they ?

I had similar damage a few years ago and it cost approx £100 for both front and rear parts of the arch and approx £100 for painting as they come primed only so approx £200 total.
I expect the prices have gone up a bit since then but it could have been much worse Thumbs Up

I had around £300 in my head so I won't be far wrong then by the sounds of it given Landrover Parts inflation. Might email Metal Monster Junk see if they have a Corris on the shelf. Hopefully door handle will literally T cut out she says its paint off the post on it and the ding in the side step can stay until i sell it.

This is all good in the scheme of things unless i find the door doesn't shut properly! The shut lines look about right for a Land Rover Laughing

If it was me I'd just leave it as is until the parts come up here or fleabay. My old D3 was well battle damaged, my plan was to fix it when I sold it as I'd no doubt pick up more of the same. Thumbs Up

Means peeps are going to think twice about parking too close in Tesco's car park. Whistle Whistle

It happened to me years ago when we had a new Vauxhall Nova - my wife bumped it against the gatepost.
2 days later we came home from walking the dog. I casually said "I could have sworn that gouge was on the other side.
"It is" was the response !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, unfortunately wheel arches don't come new painted. If the arch is basically intact and the gouges aren't very deep, it just might be worthwhile taking it into your local reputable accident repair/spray painter garage for a quote. At least that way you'll save a ton by not having to get a replacement.

@stenh02 ouch !

Update on mine, got a quote for the new arch supplied and painted for £130 from dealer which i thought was pretty good. will be ready next week.

I canceled the bi weekly valet which has actually made the incident undetectable anyway Laughing

We were quoted a grand for the repair! Thats a v good price.

We didn’t get it fixed, just chopped it in when it was a bit dirty like yours.

I live off a very narrow lane and initial access into our property is very tight (dependent on how SWMBO has parked her car) with a gate post strategically placed to do exactly the same damage as you have. I have to think each time to look in the OS mirror to ensure I can see the post but I know one day I wont. So I will probably PM you then to get your dealers details as the quote seems very fair.
