Disco3 TDV8 with a new face?
A friend of mine spotted a camouflaged D3 in Belgium near Brussels.
He could recognize the rear and side shapes, but the front was completly camouflaged, no brand tag anywhere...
So could it be the Disco 3 TDV8 is comming with a new facelift? In a time of chimpanzees, I was a penguin.
I can't see LR changing the D3 shape for some time.
The new FFRR is due soon, so as Martin says, it is probably a mock up bodyshell. Am I right in thinking the new RR will use the D3 floorplan anyway?
So this would probably explain it.Matt

This week's Autocar gives articles on The RR Sport TDV8, the Freelander 2, and an interesting article on the design future of Land Rover, as Geoff Upex (Disco designer) is retiring before Christmas. The article gave the following about the future of Land Rover:
2006-06 - The launch of the Freelander 2
2007 - Revamped Defender on sale.
2008 - Possible new niche variant, for example a Freelander coupe.
2010 - Range Rover facelist - final tweaks to today's model.
2010 - Discovery 3 facelift.
2012 - All-new Range Rover launched. Alloy body contruction? More upmarket.
2013 - All-new Discovery 4 lauched
2014 - All-new Defender - platform variant of Discovery 4. Global model.
2015 - Freelander 3 launched.
It's a must-read issue for any Land Rover enthusiast. Be quick, the next issue is released on Wednesday!
