Probably help if I asked for help in the correct area lol
Morning all
I was driving my disco last night and the amber parkbrake symbol came on, I have plugged the car in this morning and it’s fault is lost communication with parkbrake module, I have no other problem s with the car any ideas? I have looked through some of the other threads but none seem to cover this, just wondering if any one can shed some light on it

Many thanks neil

Have you cleared the fault and see if it comes back?
The lost communication thing happens regularly on most modules.
Usually when I plug my tester in there is a couple of them, usually just clear them and move on

Hi
Yes I cleared it but soon as you turn the car on it comes on, I’m thinking it may be a bad connection some where due to the weather we have had recently

twisted yellow wires are the can bus communication wires .

so you could check wiring under the back end of the car
and in wheel arches (left side?)

Usual suspects with water ingress at connectors are

on top of chassis nearside at spare wheel well
behind front nearside plastic inner wing protector
behind battery at bulkhead
