HELP!! Here it goes... I have a landrover discovery 3 tdv6 06plate, I have a oil leak from the gearbox, I'm in process of changing the vacuum control valve sleeve new filter and gasket, but noticed a bit of oil on my drive after I selected from high range to low range, but any suggestions?

get under it and have a look where its coming from ?
AUtomatic I assume?
A new filter will only be any good if the gearbox has a metal sump on it already. (they left the factory with plastic ones which are difficult to remove and refit)
Plastic sumps have the filter built in

Yeah that was the first step I took, nothing obvious, that's why Im here, didn't know if there was a oil pump or something like that fitted to the transfer box?

I think they can leak around the drive shafts

Have a oil leak as well, located to the lower hose on the oil cooler.
Dripping oil, tried to cut and shorten the hose, and put it back, still dripping.
Difficult to se where its actually leaking, i suspect the oil cooler tube, where the hose are connected.
Can also see some oil sweat from where the rubber hoses are going over to the metal tubing.
Have ordered new radiator and hose assembly, and hope that will solve this issue.
Also been thinking about installing a new oil cooler in front of the radiator, behind the grill.
Anyone done that ? D3, MY06
