Your Torque converter is going. Search on here but a typical sign it is on its way out.

You could try a mega flush to see if that helps, it has worked for some, but you need to get it to someone who knows what there doing when it comes to gearboxes, Bodsy is your nearest to you..

Flack Thumbs Up

I think there is one in Bristol.

If you like to get your hands dirty you can change the fluid yourself.

Probably not worth spending lots of money on a flush if you need a replacement gearbox.

If you need to save up for a gearbox, you can also add Dr. Tranny which fixes it for a while.

Mine did this at 160k km, added DR Tranny. Still going strong after 100K.

this happened to my car

reason:
* tranmission oil leakage
* causing low transmission oil level

Solution:
* flush the transmission oil with FILO method
* make sure transmission oil is at proper oil level

Some would say you could change the oil DIY first, and if no improvement add Dr.T. a week later.

Does this revs fluctuation only happen when driving if its a torque converter issue? Or can it also happen at standstill? Noticed a very slight fluctuation the other day when stopped at lights could barely really see it on the dial more felt/heard the engine.
Might not be related or at least hope not!
