hi guys first post, can anyone tell me if the removable tow bar that comes with the discovery is an alko aproved design as i will be looking to tow a caravan soon and the ball has to be suited to the alko hitch .any coments welcome cheers gary

dont know if its alko approved but i have no trouble with mine plenty of clearance for alko hitch disco 3 commercial

Not sure if it is approved by anyone, but I tow my twin axle tin tent with a Winterhoff WS3000 and the removable towbar with no problems. Just don't forget when it is fitted. It is about the same height as your shins...

Welcome Gary It's UK, EC, UNECE type approved and rated to tow the manufacturers specification of 3500kgs....doesn't need anyone else to approve it TBH 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

If you mean the goose neck removable one, then yes it is fine. Mark.

but you will have to clean it well if you want to use it with an Alco friction hitch. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.
