Shell Helix Ultra Professional AF 5W-30 is what I’ve used. It is WSS-M2C913-C which supercedes WSS-M2C913-B.
Plenty of choice there if Shell isn’t your thing like Ravenol, Liquimoly, Castrol (expensive), Mobil, Total, etc.

Thanks both!
Quick one - do you check oil with engine hot or cold?
I seem to get different results depending whether I check with engine cold or engine off within last few minutes.
I Typically always wait for engine to be cold

Oil sorted
So reading through, what should i hit first in a preventative manor?
PCV Valve on top of engine?
Clean the Air Sensor between the air filter and engine was it?
Did someone say throttle body?

All 3
All easy to do. Throttle body takes longest amount of time and well worth the effort.
Atlantic British have some good short videos on youtube

Hi Jack, hows the first week gone?
I'm very new here, only had mine 6 months. Had no engine issues (with the exception of an 02 sensor) but a few Discovery 3 issues, still love the car mind. 184k on mine now so hoping just run in.

Not done too much to be honest.
The air con isn't working so I decided it was too hot and took the D5 the limited journeys I did.
Still pleased with it though MY2023 Discovery 5 R-Dynamic 3.0

It all started with some heavy 12-6 play on the rear wheel and a small leak on the rear diff.
In now for rear upper and lower control arms, drop links, panhard rods, hub knuckle bushings, stabilizer rubber thingy and flexible brake lines. On both sides.
Indy is wrestling with rust for 3 weeks. Almost all bolts are seized and need a lot of heating, cutting and swearing He also needed to cut off the hub knuckle bushing bolt on both sides but it still wouldn’t come off
Also need to change oil seals on half shaft.
Also had to let go of the spare wheel shield ... I know it’s here to protect from the exhaust heat, but seriously, do I need it?_,,,_______///________
