I’ve used CRC’s MAF Sensor Cleaner once. I’m still around to talk about it and the car is fine

Well done - best choice of colour. As is tradition here, 'no pictures or it didn't happen'

MOT Day today - Passed Only did 3,230mls in the last 12mnths. 64,700mls in 15 years so I'm keeping the average down

Similar, passed it's MOT yesterday. 1000 miles between the MOT's and now total milage is 56k. 4800 miles since april 2017.
Two advisories though, front suspension bushes and pitted front discs. Trying to get that done ASAP.
I've owned the car roughly a year but I've not been in the UK, hence the low milage the past year. It'll be coming to Norway at the end of the month for a 3 or 4 week camping trip.... the distances here will add up pretty quickly!

Curious that MOT's needed now..? Mine was due last month, I called the local guy who does all our cars, and he said MoT not due until before end Jan 2021.
Due to COVID, car MOT tests due before end of July were automatically extended by 6 months. Mine expired 30th July so not due until end Jan 2021
A few weeks ago my local dealer called and asked if I wanted to sell the V8?
Evidently much in demand now that diesel is the fuel pariah. And for London residents, it's ULEZ compliant.. Prices creeping up or my imagination?

Booked mine into West 4X4 for front arms.
Bushes seems to be dissolving at a rapid rate and I haven't got time to do them. I think Mark was somewhat taken back when I told him that I'll go with genuine arms if it needs arms (he may just rebush). Told me I was brave but I think he thought he was talking to a TDV6 owner.

Just about to sell my 4.4 v8 and have bought my first Diesel power plant, a D4 3.0SDV6. Bit scary to be honest and maybe a steep learning curve working on an oil burner with 2 turbos.

^^ You can't mention the 'D' word in the V8 section We will all become anxious and fretful ...ooh wait, that's what getting a D****l will do to you
Will shortly be leaving the fold. Just bought a 2013 L405 Vogue SE SDV8 (I won't mention the D word).
Will be sad to see my V8 go as it's been a great car.4

I picked mine up today after waiting 6 weeks for it. All good apart from a reversing sensor fault! Gives me the ‘your crashing into something tone’ but no flashing of PDC light. Love the noise though. Engine not faulty sensor

D3 v8 owner
just tripped over this thread regarding V8 D3 in the UK. I checked 'How Many Left' yesterday.
The maximum number registered in the UK peaked at 435. As of the last update 346 were still taxed with a further 34 SORN.
