you could save the pages as PDF (this may be Mac only as Windoze doesn't include a save as PDF option). This will include all the images etc. Or.. if you use Explorer then save each page as a web archive.

I asked whether this would be made available as other formats, eg PDF. The response I just received was this:

The service manuals are html files and will remain in this format. Larger documents such as workshop manuals are not stored in GTR as PDF files due to their excessive file size. There are currently no plans to provide these documents as PDF files and workshop manuals for future models will be displayed as html pages.

Yes - but it does not quite work with these Java generated html pages designed to obfuscate - or rather it does, but then pasting it into OpenOffive has alle elements copied TWICE, so you then have to delete all duplicate text. Very tedious!

Will have to checkoffice pc but I think that the full version of Adobe Acrobat has facilities for this. Other way would be to print each page if you have a good laser printer, then use a scanner with an ADF to scan them (again straight to Acrobat (pdf) if you have full acrobat on the pc & the scanner is enabled for it (our HP seems to be) As an aside, this would have to be subject to the T&C's of whatever site/manual was involved and you may find that distribution/publishing of it is not allowed!

Indeed, I'll share the 15 or so docs I have with the people here who need them but I'm pretty sure Ford/LR would not want them published (all copyrighted and subject to site rules), so I can't put them online I am afraid, and would ask you all to note that Foird/LR restriction.
Which is a shame because these docs show off so well how amazing the engineering is that has gone into this vehicle. If I were Ford/LR I'd be shouting this all from the rooftops, rather than obfuscating and hiding!

i use Contentsaver from www.macropool.com
It took a little while to save every page. But i had to subscribe to GTR only one month.
Now i have the entire workshop manual as an archive. I can search words etc.
I think Land Rover will not like if i send it out by email 
Please dont ask. It is in German anyway.

Sorry to disappoint you all, but Rave discs will not become available for the Disco 3. These stopped on disc 20 (Dec 2003), I have included the notes on the last Rave discs:
RAVE HELP - Technical Service Information
RAVE
RAVE has been the primary vehicle for the distribution of Land Rover Technical
Information to the franchise dealership network. Since the introduction of the CD
based solution, technology and legislation have moved on. RAVE no longer meets
the demanding requirements of the automotive service industry and so it is being
replaced by an online technical information system known as the Global Technical
Reference (GTR).
Global Technical Reference (GTR)
Overview
GTR provides access to Land Rover technical information using Internet technology.
It provides a number of advantages over RAVE, including;-
•Improve availability – 'round the clock' access, using any standard Internet
technology.
•Reduce 'time to market' for important information; such as product fix details –
hence improving Land Rover repairers ability to 'Fix-it-right-first-time'.
•Reduce the cost and complexity of distribution – CD distribution will be phased
out in most markets during 2004.
•Adhere to new European and North American legislation requiring Technical
Information to be made public.
Content
GTR includes the following information for Land Rover models dating back to 1995;
•Workshop Manuals
•Electrical Reference Library
•Circuit Diagrams
•Technical Bulletins
•Service Actions
•Recall Actions
•Body and Paint Repair Manuals
As GTR is developed over the coming months, additional material will be added.
So it seems GTR is the only system coming.

Hmm, shame, the RAVE was good. I suspect too many got copied and illegaly distributed too 
GTR is OK, but it is expensive.

I have downloaded the document
I have checked the differences between this document and the owner hand book manual.
So In this document I have seen that there is an Adaptative Cruise Control (ACC) available on the D3:
See page 24
39. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) Indicator (if fitted)
The ACC indicator is controlled by the ACC module and the instrument cluster software.
The indicator is illuminated when cruise control is active and another vehicle is detected
by the radar system in front of the vehicle. The indicator is illuminated in an amber color
to alert the driver that the ACC system is active and will automatically control the vehicle
speed to maintain a set distance from the vehicle in front.
And this option is not available in France!!! I don't understand why??? 
I have not seen any explanation about ACC in the Owner Hand book (English and French Versions)
So I don’t understand
Is the ACC available on LR D3 yes or not
If yes on witch market?

I have an ACC on my actual car and I love so much that when I drive on Highways (my wife too), that I wanted to have one on the Disco 3 I have ordered one month ago (steel waiting it  ), but does not exist for LR France 
Mercedes, BMW, Honda, Audi, Renault, soon Peugeot, give their customers the opportunity to ordered this option but LR steel no!!! "Lady": Discovery 3 HSE Seven TDV6 Tonga Green.
Options : Automatic Gearbox, Premium navigation system, Personal telephone integration system, Park distance control front, Powerfold exterior mirrors, Sunroof plus Alpine roof, Lower centre console cooler box, Cold climate pack, Full size spare wheel.

ACC isn't available on D3's anywhere yet, possible future option I suspect
It's available on the RRS (and presumably FFRR too) The End
