| Discovery 4 facelift bumper questions |
|
Picked up a cheap bare bumper for the facelift on my disco 4. I’ve already got the fog surrounds and need to get the tow eye cover.
My question is. Will the washer jets and also the parking sensors fit from my pre facelift bumper to my new bumper?
Also is there anything else I will need?

Ive done the D4 facelift myself, in terms of parking sensors, yes they will swap straight over and clip in. With the washers my pre facelift fit fine, only reason I didn't get the facelift ones is due to not being able to get hold of any quick enough! Yes they are sat proud of the bumper, but ive noticed with the facelift ones they seem to fall into the bumper, not sure if it's bad design or pushed by someone!?

Oh good news. Il use the ones I have. I did think that the facelift ones were flush, that’s why I asked the question. Done an eBay search and all that shows up is pre facelift washers. I think only the true purest would spot that it’s got pre facelift washer jets. 
Just ordered a tow eye cover off eBay so I’m good to go.
Jobs done so far.

Wing mirrors
Rear lights
Wing badges
Bonnet badge
I think that all that tells them apart isn’t it?

Yes, you are good to but worth a few ££ to get the flush washers to do a 100% job. I would notice and be dismayed   Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

il drive faster and people won’t have chance to spot them.
Il probably keep a saved search on eBay and if some come up il nab them. Just to keep you happy!

I’m trying to do the facelift bumper on my
Vehicle now.
- did your front bumper have the two cameras in front? This has been holding me up a ton.
- the new wing mirrors - did yours have cameras.. what all was involved in swapping over?

No I didn’t have any cameras on mine. Mirrors either. I haven’t actually had the bumper fitted yet. Haven’t had chance to get it in the body shop.
I did think about the camera upgrade all round but decided against it as it seemed like a lot of expense and effort.

With the camera upgrade... do you use the 2012 cameras or 2014+? How do you get them to work with your vehicle?
I cant seem to get the 2014+ cameras to work with my 2012 but think I am missing something.

Wish I'd known, I have a spare tow eye cover and the underneath black plastic flaps from a MY16 D4. I've been meaning to advertise them for sale here.

Lt. I still need to get the under bumper flappy plastic bits. How much would you want?
I got the mirrors from Kent 4x4 breakers. Paid £400 for the pair. Haven’t wired the indicator in yet. Wil do that soon.

I'd need to find them first, my parts shed is a little "busy" at the moment.
They should be as new, they were removed straight away from my new 2016 Landmark. I'll look this weekend and if they're near to the surface hopefully find them. 2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
