Discovery 4 HCAN & MCAN Wiring Schematic Needed
Hi all
So got myself a D4 about 2 months back, she has a few issues which I am trying to tackle.
One of them is that the parking sensors don't seem to be functioning at all. I have checked by listening out for the 'ticking' from each sensor, but nothing.
I did a scan today on the GAP tool and here is what I get. I note that the CANBUS is unable to communicate with the module, so wondered if anyone could share the wiring schematic so that I can check what needs to be looked at?

Hi
Must confess many of them look historical with the different dates etc , have u tried clearing all of them to see what comes back please , think the U codes can normally be ignored
Also checked to ensure the parking sensors are turned on via the gap live data screen , along with checking the connections behind the headlights or bumper
Assume ur battery has already been tested and fully charged

I did clear the codes (more than once). When you say check that the parking sensors are switched on in the GAP tool, can you elaborate please? When i looked under 'live values' the option for the sensors wasn't there? Am I missing something?
Good point about checking behind the rear llights though, I seem to remember on my Disco 3, there was a connector there for the parking sensors?

Ur so very welcome , enclosed a screen shot of the gap iid menu , ur see there u can select different option if there’s only rear or both, just wished to ensure that was turned on
Then if there’s no data on live readings it might be a good idea to use a multimeter to test the connections to double check power is getting to them in the first place
So after a drive and codes cleared , then rescanning what codes came back plse
