much cheaper to tape a garden cane to the tow hitch on the trailer, you can reverse right upto it easy as pie, much cheaper than a camera....

not sure which spec to go for, not sure if this new sat nav will be any good, like the fact you can update it from the web site though @-) Just been to our local dealer, and although they had no brocuhues and basically told us to come back in august - they did give me a sneek peek copy of the product brief. Some nice new features, looks like more of the work has gone into the interior which is good - always thought the disco3 lacked the luxury in bits of the interior cabin. Any one know what mpg I can expect from the 3.0 Diesel?

I guess that's the point - I've never seen my 55 plate manual SE as a luxury vehicle but LR keeping pushing it further and further upmarket even though they have the FFRR to do that job. Personally if I could have a manual 3.0 diesel SE for £34k as a transaction price (like last time) I'd be in.
Putting the gearbox situation aside for a while, the price of the car is just too much. I will be keeping my D3 another four years and hoping that I can get what I want then. 2014MY Discovery

Does anyone know what engine the commercial will come with 2.7 or 3.0?? and will there be an option for an auto box on it? I can resist everything except TEMPTATION

Commercial does come with the 2.7 ...I cannot imaging why they wouldn't let you have an auto box  21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
