Discovery 4 Suspension Fault |
|
Hi All
I have had quite a few issues with my 2010 disco 4 over the past few months (changed both turbos, both belts, water pump etc). However, I cant seem to fix the latest issue. Two weeks ago the suspension fault message came up on the dash ‘normal ride height only’ I took it to a Independent Land Rover garage in Milton Keynes and he replaced the compressor. Driving the car home after an hour a new fault message came up ‘Suspension Fault’ Turning the car on and off removed the message but now it comes on after 10 seconds each time the car starts and some times the fault turns to red and speed limit of 30 message comes on and now I feel every bump going down the road. Before I take it back to them would any one have some suggestions? I have read it could be the compressor relay which would be a cheap fix, oh one more issue when I go over bumps there is quite a loud squelching noise coming from the front. Not a knocking noise but a squelching noise. A year ago I changed the lower control arm bushes to the armored version so I do not think it is those. Could it be the air suspension struts or maybe the sway bar bushes?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Many thanks
James

If they fitted a Genuine part it's a 2 Year warranty.. And would have been the AMK as this is all LR offer now..
