Easiest way I've found to attach sound is to download a video clip to YouTube and then paste the link. Simples. Thumbs Up

Mine is booked 8 of October for check the timing and HP pump belts and hydraulic lifters and/or chain tensioner

Absolutely no noise on cold!

See on my linked posts how to check the oil filter, if it's clean (no metallic particles = no pain)

So my car has been into GS Stockport today for a technician to listen to the ticking. After much deliberation and listening in various places, removing of covers, and inspections with torches, the conclusion has been reached is that there is nothing to worry about. It sounds normal. Thumbs Up

The end of the noise.

Dealer changed me all hydraulic lifters and the noise is now gone!!!!

Before With hot engine (T Oil > 60°C)





And now with new hydraulic lifters.
