I'm no design expert, but I'd carry the D3's glass lines through so that you could see through when driving.
If it needed to be secure, you could always privacy glass the windows.
Mind you, would look like an articulated D3 then, though here's a thought, you could put seats in it and not only extend seating by another four, but also have an ideal solution for the "mother-in-law".
NB: This last design suggestion was brought to you courtesy of Bernard Manning and does not reflect the views of Mossy.D3 HSE V8...

Re: Discovery Trailer
I am not sure I would like such a trailer, it is a bit too nice / fancy, more suited to be towed by an RRS than a D3
I'd be very interested in one of these trailers if they every did decide to make it. It would be great for work, as I could rack it out. The trouble is that it would slow me down on the motorways though.
I've been thinking if this while considering my move from my van http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...T&rd=1 to a Disco and if it doesn't work out practical enough, then I could use a box trailer for the kit.Matt

The most recent (May 06) issue of LRM has an item on a D3 Commercial that LR dealer Lakeland in Cumbria has built for several clients, including a 4.4 V8 Commercial that runs on LPG for one of them. The company making the conversion for Lakeland is J.F&E. Hadwin who also developed the D2 Commercial before LR Special Vehicles realised there was a market for them and LR started selling their own commercial D2.
