Germany 2005 Discovery 3 TDV6 HSE Auto Buckingham BlueDiscovery 3
DIY: Front and Rear View Cam

Hi,

i installed a front and a rear view cam on my Discovery 3. I took a lot of pictures if someone is interested in:

Front Cam: http://www.flickr.com/photos/klausnahr/sets/72157611243576012/

Rear View Cam: http://www.flickr.com/photos/klausnahr/sets/72157614802605893/

For better quality i used CCD cameras. Both cameras are connected to the Discoverys Monitor via QDIS GVIF Video Interface. Switching to the rear cam happens automatically.

Best regards
Klaus

The QDIS GVIF Interface plugs between the Navigation system and the monitor and has 3 AV inputs, a rear cam input, RGB input, CAN Bus in, some control lines and AV out. You find some informations here: http://qdis.co.kr/product/landrover.asp. Just ignore the error message when loading the page.

I can send the specs in case of interest if the download is not working.
