Holy thread ressurection!!

Yeah I know thers probably a better thread that’s discussed this before, unfortunately I couldn’t find it. So...

I’m towing a 650kg (MGW) trailer back from Germany next month and so trying to work out what speed limits I have to stick to Rolling Eyes

My D4s V5 states “Mass in service” as 2640 and “max permissable mass (exc m/c)” as 3310. This means I presume my Max train weight is 3310+650kg, not 2640+650kg, which means I’m looking at 80/90kph Big Cry

Any advice is appreciated Thumbs Up

Depending on the route you take you might need to figure out the speed limit in each jurisdiction (France, Germany, Netherlands, etc.)

Here the limit is 80 km/h for trailers, AFAIK.

Well aware of that chap, thanks, but it’s the French ones I’m most interested in as that’s where I’m going to do most of the miles.
