Dog guard mod will it work?

I’ve got a full height dog guard but I’ve decided a half height would be better for me so a can still slide long items underneath it. If I cut the lower section off my full height guard will it still fasten in securely or do I need to swap it for half height one? D3 x2 now gone

You would have to leave the bottom mountings or it would all fall down. A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

Cut the mesh out from the section thats covered by the rear seats when their up. File the cut edges smooth, paint with satin black.

The only thing with this mod, is if you have the load divider.

If you cut the mesh away, there will be nowhere to fasten the bottom mount of the divider.

you could try a strip of door edge protector ( e.g. https://www.ebay.co.uk/p/Streetwize-Car-Do...1980013537 ) on the lower edge of the mesh after cutting it. Kinder on both your dog(s) and your hands!

Haven't seen how the divider attaches but pretty sure a bracket round the bottom tube (assuming it has one ???) would do the trick ... loose enough to drop flat when not in use.

I haven’t got a load divider and the dog goes in her own cage the guard is to stop the contents of the boot landing on my daughter! Thumbs Up D3 x2 now gone
