not much, bought and plugged in a wireless charging phone holder and plug in voltmeter.
The £6 voltmeter actually is a good indication of battery condition, showing 12.7/8 with nothing switched on dropping to 12.3/4 when you start switching on climate, heated screens, heated seats. Then on started up the engine rising very quickly to a steady 14.9 on the run into work. So my battery and alternator are both good 2011 D4 XS 305 MY12 - gone but not forgotten

Re: Prototype boot shelf and sliding platform

Finished off my 5 ply parcel shelf and boot sliding platform.
Loading boot day2day is easier and keeps the bits and bobs in the boot out the way.
Uses furniture sliders so friction is minimal when sliding loaded in and out of the boot.
Parcel shelf held down with bungees to tie down points. Which also keep items to sides as well.
All easy to remove when not needed.
Working well so far.
This is the Second iteration, first was just a basic raised platform with pull out ‘table.’ But it didn’t offer flexibility I was looking for. Pull out table was originally seen on YouTube.
Pix below for ref.
Thoughts welcome...
