I have an early (Dec 2009) D4 3.0 TDV6 XS. Some articles seem to suggest that a DPF may not be fitted which means the EGR can be blanked(?) as well as a remap, but want to understand what I've got before deciding what I can or cannot do.

Do you have the 2.7L engine? If you do, I’m certain it will not have a DPF. My 2010 3.0 D4 didn’t have a DPF. Someone will be along with the dates when DPF became standard fit.2006 D3 HSE (Original & still the best)-GONE
2010 D4 HSE (A bit bling)-GONE
2014 D4 HSE (Almost too bling)-GONE

If it says 3.0 TDV6 on the back, its probably not got a dpf, but the VIN is the sure fire way to check
Current: D4 HSE
Previous: BMW Z4M Coupe
Previous: Land Rover Defender 90 CSW Td5
Previous: Land Rover Discovery Td5 ES
Based on the VIN I don't have a DBF (F in column 5)....yay!
So when I get the remap with EGR removal software patch can I also blank the EGR's with no issues resulting?
Next on the list of things to do...
RLD Spare wheel protector
Roof bar foot pack
All Terrains (Cooper Zeon LTZ or Cooper AT3)
Decent Headlamp bulbs
LED Roof light bar
ad infinitum Tony
