The dreaded boing

Ok can't see anything in the manual , on Friday travelling into work I heard a boing intermittent. Thought I was imagining it but then it did it again on way home the once however this time a red warning flashed up for about a sec but not enough to even indentify it on the dash . It was in the area circled in the attached picture, any clues . It's disappeared now which is a pain .

On my 2016MY that's where the TPMS alert symbol is. It only shows up yellow though according to my manual.

If that's where your TPMS light is you may have an under inflated tyre, that is on the boundary of causing an alert.

Just a thought. When you turn on your ignition, the lamp test should show up the symbol in that position. Gary

I had similar last week. split second bong and a flash of red warning light. Happened a couple of times before i managed to see what it was that it was trying to tell me. Happened every time i went over a decent sized bump. turned out it was the seatbelt warning light because i had something on the passenger seat Rolling Eyes Thud
