It was my idea... Bodsy only responded quicker on how to reset the readout....
Call it a team effort...
Only joking, glad you got the right result,
The best thing to get the correct reading is to do a calculation based on brimming the tank, zero the mileage, use the fuel, refill and calculate based on actual fuel used a miles covered, the mpg guage is a guesstimate and can be 3-4 miles out If it ain't broke... Take it apart anyway, how else you gonna find out how it works

If you've got an iDog&Bone, get the Roadbook app. FOC for one car.
However, don't be too upset when it shows the real extent of your car's drink problem.

Does anyone have any data on how the computer calculates the mileage. I know there are two settings in the ecu, per 1km or per 100km. Just for kits, I changed it to per 1km, and noted a drop in mileage. That does not equate to actual loss, but rather a different calculation method.
Actually measuring intake and kilometers of course will provide the truest measure.
