Hi all.
Seriously helpful site.
Current issue with a 2005 LHD D3 driver's door which will not lock using either the key fob or dash button but will unlock using both. All other doors lock and unlock as the maker intended.
Have changed lock mechanism and cables to no avail.
Am suspecting the CJB, as that's where the driver's door lock relay sits. Would that match the symptoms above?
Any assistance much appreciated.
Regards,

There is a three wire splice in the front door sills that cause door lock problems. I would check that before going on to the fuse panel

Check the connector where the drivers door wiring joins the body loom by the hinges. Mine let water in there and it caused all sorts of weird stuff with the door electrics. The bottom pins were all corroded. If it’s ok make sure it’s sealed when you reconnect it.

All,
just to close this one and in case it is useful to others, my driver's door lock issue turned out to be a dead relay on the Central Junction Box PCB. I got a second hand CJB on eBay, removed the original CJB from my vehicle, had the former cloned to the latter (£200 at Turner Diagnostics - very knowledgeable crew), fitted the clone and now everything that did not previously work is fixed!
