Drivers door lock and tailgate issues

The drivers door on my RHD LR3 will not lock using the key fob. When activating the fob all of the other doors will lock and the alarm is armed but the drivers door remains unlock. You can lock the door manually from the inside.

Another problem which has just started is the tailgate: The upper section on the tailgate keeps automatically opening (message in info screen states tailgate open) This problem only happens when the key is in the ignition and you can hear the locking mechanism releasing itself every few seconds.

The only way i can keep it shut/locked is locking all the doors with the key fob then unlocking the interior doors from inside thus keeping the tailgate locked.

Please help anyone.........

I have the exact same problem with my drivers door lock. The inside lever moves a little - so about to fit a new actuator. Will let you know if that fixes it - assuming I can find instructions on here as to how to disassemle the door! TDV6 HSE Lux (2014MY)
