Give these a ring ...ask them if they have any LightForce 170 strikers in stock - should be £140 ish and they are the DB's 8)

why not use your brackets - these are designed to fit securely on the bumper - the top of them is designed to mate up with the D3 lights plate which is same shape as slot on A Bar - you may be able to fabricate an adaptor plate Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Confused They can't mount to the bumper 'cos its not strong enough. I'll have a look at the brackets to see what can be done...

It would appear from the LR pdf that the top of the "post" fitted in the kit is threaded to accept the lower half of the lamp mounting bracket...

The base of the LF mount would appear to be a thread... Idea "Funny, mine doesn't do that......."

The LR fitting kit is two posts that bolt to the front cross member. You then drill through the bumper and fit the lights to these posts. As suggested the LF's could be adapted to fit....
