driving lights not working |
|
I have installed the driving lites to D3. They don't work.
The electrics from the switch to the green connecter work when i turn the lights on and theswitch for the drivinglights is on i get 12 V between the cable that connects to the green connecter and the vehicle earth.
The electrics under the bonnet seems to work too. I think the problem is between the green connector and the loom under the bonnet, the selenoid gets 12 V on both brouwn/purple cables. buth the selenoid doesn't work. LR3 driving lamps, front and rear lamp guards, raised air intake, general grabber AT2, ...

If they are OEM, and you are using the OEM plugs, then the D3 needs to be told you now have driving lights. A swift correction of the CCF file either by a dealer of somebody near you with a Faultmate.

I think Bodsy is coming through Belgium very soon, and he is doing a couple of Faultmate jobbies, pm him to see if you can catch him.

We don't find where we can change the settings for the driving lights. We contacted the official LR dealer and they said its just plug and play.
Can sombody tell me where to look in what settings do I need to change something?

Are you using a LR Dealership, I doubt it.
If they are OEM Driving Lights, and you've correctly used the wiring kit supplied, following the instructions you'll need to tell the D3 it has them now fitted.
In the Car Configeration File (CCF File) is all the information given to the D3 at build, and if you've added the lights this needs to be changed in that file through the On Board Diagnostics (OBD) plug which is above the Brake pedal. Until this is done the D3 won't supply power to them or the switch.
LR and Faultmate users can do this easily.
