Dunlop Suspension Compressor Views |
|
So the suspension compressor on my wife’s Disco is on its way out get normal suspension height only fault about once a month at the minute with the suspension slow to build pressure fault code.
We have got a warranty with Warrnty Wise who have authorised a suspension compressor but they have only approved a Dunlop branded one from LR Direct before where as my indie has suggest a genuine LR.
Before I go and argue with Warranty Wise are there any views on the Dunlop compressor?

The Dunlop compressor is a direct copy of the original Hitachi. Sod to fit but does the job and much less cost than an AMK. The AMK is stated as being superior to the Hitachi/Dunlop and is recommended by most of the clued up guys on this forum.
I replaced my original compressor at around 90,000 miles for a Dunlop. Now done 102,000 miles and so far so good. 2007 Disco3 2.7 tdv6 SE

Disco_Mikey I haven’t asked that question but I do intend to, away with work this week so need to wait till Friday to give them a call. I don’t see why I can’t as I have the option for them to pay the garage or me, they just want a invoice of the repair made out to them from the garage, if it came to it I am sure the indie would do me two invoices if needed.
Out of interest what would you recommend fitting ?
