How on earth do you remove the center cubby box?

HELP, I'm trying to remove the center cubby box to fit a Midland CB into it, so far, as I've found on other posts, I have taken the screw out holding the EHB lever, and checked that there isn't one in under the long tray on the other side and lifted the gear lever skirt, and taken out the two large hinge screws.

I believe the top of the centre console should "just pull off" now, but it does seem particularly well stuck on at present, is there anything else I need to remove?

Also one post suggested that there were a couple of other screws "near the top", I cannot see any, but it all seems remarcably well secured.

Does anyone know the answer to these questions before I trash the lot Big Cry Big Cry

Thanks

Look at instructions for coolerbox on LR site, is under RRS but had D3 instructions. Watch out for missed screw under EPB lever.

I get as far as step 4, and have removed the screw under the ehb but it feels firmly stuck? How hard should it be to pull?

Very, if you don't think you are going to break something pull harder! Thumbs Up

Cupholders can detach but that's nothing to worry about, they get held in place when put together again.

Thanks Rob, that's it out now, it really is a case of being brave enough to just pull! Thumbs Up
