I’ve been informed it was a reconditioned unit fitted, I wasn’t made aware of this as I gave instruction to assess any work required and he sent me a email with what was required and I was happy for him to carry out the work, there was no mention of it been second hand, is this the norm when replacing these pumps to fit second hand reconditioned units and not inform the customer when I was expecting a new one to be fitted

Advanced factors have them for £412.50 without our discount
For £445.83 you can buy a complete Amk kit with brackets, covers and everything else you need

Quick update new pump fitted and all working ok, still waiting for him to contact me 😡
This was bought from eBay brand new with the relay £124 and 2 year warranty

Many thks and looking at that and know the guys here who run garages would know far better than myself, with regards to how long it would take to fit all those parts
Maybe 2 - 3 x days ????? , say if he charged £50 per hour that’s only 6 x hours , unless of course he’s really fast
Fingers crossed everything else has been fitted as instructed , if u don’t mind me saying concerning there is no alignment costs there
Hope there’s no more suprises and all is well

Oh wow , that’s a good price
Hopefully he will come up trumps with refunding u the difference of what you’ve been charged and wasn’t fitted as per ur instructions

No alignment was done, it needs the OSR upper arm replacing this was spotted at the tyre place but I didn’t notice if it was a new one which it should of been looking at the invoice, once I get that replaced it’s going in for alignment, don’t want to ruin another set of tyres, especially these ones

Ah i see, saw the rear uppers and front lowers mentioned so assumed they had alignment done
Indeed, set of tyres arnt cheap , funny enough I’ve got 17 ‘s on mine , running cooper AT/3 and been wondering about getting a set of winter tyres on a set of 18/19 rims
Also wondered as I don’t do many miles per year if it’s worth leaving the winter tyres on all year round , been looking to see what an average set of winter tyres last for and what make etc
