I was trying to get to the AUX socket, but I was stopped by two things:
1, Can the radio be disconnected if the ignition off, but battery is still connected?
2, How the AUX, cigarette lighter panel comes off, I undid the two screws, and tried to pull it, but did not work. I know there are two clips additional to the screws, but which way the unit comes out.

1. Disconnecting the battery beforehand is best
2. Pull it really hard. It will budge eventually
You may not have to pull it out though, you can probably get to the wires for the feed underneath the panel, there should be a black and white pair on both sides for the aux & cig lighter feeds The End
