As with the D3 I decided to dispense with the LR OEM rear mudflaps as they are big enough, instead I fitted the Series 3 Rear mudflaps, here's some pictures:

These the fastnering points I used, the screw is the existing one, the lower fastner uses the hole designed for the OE mudflaps, the inner, top fastner point I had to drillthrough the wheel arch liner (7mm drillbit)

These are the fastners I used:
There's a stencil for the cut-out you need to make on the Series 3 mudflaps so they fit around the exhausts on the D3/4 in my gallery here
All done in about an hour, even managed to drill the extra holes without removing the wheels - just put her in Off-Road height before you start LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I was thinking the same thing to do on my coiler and only found Defender flaps do think they would do the job?
Not sure mate. I used the same for our coiler. TLO can get you the LR Series 3 flaps, part number is L320590LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I fitted some after-market generic fibreglass-reinforced ones that are available here in Oz that are about the same size. They bend out at the bottom outside corner a bit from being pounded by flying rocks due to no support there but otherwise they seem to be doing the job.
Got any pictures?LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

Much more effective than OE ones, however I found I ripped them straight off when off-roading as they catch between the tyre and the ground if reversing out of a rutted section 2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

Done the same to my D3, have been to various off road locations and never had a problem with them catching. May have been lucky don't know. Here are a couple of pics of them very easy to do and a lot better than the originals.

I too have pulled them off by reversing in soft, deep sand in Tunisia, but that's why I changed from screws to the plastic fastners for all but one point. Although they're secure, they will pull out rather than rip out like a screw which ends up damaging the vehicle.
I'm contemplating doing something similar to what I saw on some Desert Ralley vehicles in Tunisia. They strapped the bottom of the flap to a point on the vehicle above and behind it, to stop it being pushed forward when reversing into something, or possibly allow it to be manually folded up against the body when required.LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I will fit them and post the results.
What did you do at the front of yours because the OEM ones look a bit short to me. The Farmers around here like to leave cow muck all over the road Faultmate MSV-2

I got front OEM ones - seem to do the trick, although suspect that the Discovery Series 1 ones would be better. (for rear I use the LR Series 3 ones)

Hi
Can someone please help me with where I can buy these mud flaps? I want the ones with "Land Rover" on it.
Thanks
