| Gearbox replacement - recommendations? |

Hi all
Looks like I'm in need of a new transmission. Been getting the transmission fault, limited gears available etc. Took it to Mick who thought it might need the gearbox calibrated due to error code he saw, he cleared it and did the magic stuff on iid. Still getting the error now, but pretty much constantly, 5 times plus on a 20 mile drive.
Took it to land ranger in Stockport today and the guy checked codes and said there were some relating to gearbox ratio issues between 4 and 5. He said there were others but cleared them all before I got a photo of them 😐
I took it for a good drive and issue didn't comeback. Drove it 30 miles home and still hadn't appeared again, but I'm not hopeful.
If it comes back he said to take it back and we'll check again but he thinks gearbox might be knackered.
Anyone have any place in Warrington / cheshire / manchester area that is reasonable for gearbox replacement?
