Now as some may know via my other posts I seem to have a cold start issue that appeared this weekend , but have had a slight miss on autumnal start ups .
so im thinking glow plugs but when she does eventually start and running even she is sluggish to the end of the street about 500 yds ,but when warm she goes as it should
done the usual trawl through loads of threads and I have picked up some EGR related posts which mention the sluggish behaviour from cold
I am hoping it is just poor performance because of the lack of heat in the cylinder
any one else had similar before I go down the wrong road .
Thanks'
Phil.

in the time taken to post that, you could have measured the resistance of the glow plugs and have an idea how many work

Exact same symptoms until last week when refused to start. Land Rover garage I use had picked up an egr fail when had service anyway. They came out and egr had failed so had them blanked and remap done and it is spot on now.

Not to start with. They put it on computer as routine part of service and got original fault code and another which turned out to be a false code. But about 2 weeks go the EML lit up on dash so they again checked it and it showed egr again which they cleared with a view to having it in to blank off but before I got chance to get it in they failed and it wouldn’t start, so it then had to go in and now runs perfect in fact better.

Thanks
I believe mine was on the diagnosis software when I had my epb reattached , would have thought they would have spotted it and the potential extra work possibility
think I need some help from someone with an IID tool
