sorry all,
not as bad as the title may suggest, but just wanted to know,if you have your EGR's blanked can they still fail?
sorry if it sounds dumb!!!

Hmm, don't quite follow what you mean.....
If you blank them, there is no gas flow through the valve so it does not matter what the valve does.
However, if you mean the motor/feedback resistor that controls the valve, the answer is yes if you still have that present in the vehicle as the ECU will still try and drive it and it is possible that it can fail on its own.
