| Are all elec seats memory? |
|
Just bought some electric seats for my D4 GS.
I just wondered, are they all memory and if not, how do I tell if they are or arent?
I am not fussed, and bought them assuming they are not, but I just wondered.

I think the actual seats are the same, but there are extra bits elsewhere that deal with the memory side of things - the buttons on the door, for example. Gordon

^ this. If you have the extra looms and buttons on the door card then I’d say this is possible on any electric seat Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

seats going to be the same
I do not believe D4 seats come with side bolsters (might be wrong here) as gcat has harness for it with side bolsters: LR015873
in most cases you'd need following parts to get it working:
under seat harness to accommodate memory module: LR015873 nonbolster wiring
additional cable to control tilt (not confirmed): YMQ501720
memory module: LR021530
door handle and switch: AH22-14776-AA
also it would be enabled with IIDTool or similar once installed
I am trying to get this installed on my bus as well as other forum member stephenw46
will keep posted once done
