My electric wing mirrors have alzheimers... |
|
My electric wing mirrors intermittently refuse to remember their settings.
My wife and I have different settings but even when I press no. 1 they don't go to where I set them previously.
So, I set my seat and mirrors, press memory and no. 1 and next day, after pressing no. 1 the wing mirrors are way off.
It doesn't happen all the time but it's sure as hell annoying D3 incl. genuine glass windscreen, front bi-focal headlights, full width rear bumper, self levelling washer bottle contents and audible 'tick tock' indicator stalk

Annoying but it can be fixed with a new memory module. Although even with a new module mine need a gentle reminder with a push of the memory button to get them fully home from time to time.

Are you referring to some form of software update?
I have Wiggs to me soon

Hi Will,
I have had three new memory modules and at least one mirror replaced. It still has it's own mind.
Best way of making it a bit better, is to wait for the mirrors to return to normal after going in reverse before you turn off and take the key out. Still happens, but not as often.
Regards
Chris
