"Designed to be" doesn't mean "has to be". A suitable plug/socket combination with appropriate wiring will be fine. The Bearded Dragon

Just got of the phone with the guy from MPS 4x4 about a possible group buy. The chap says he could do a little discount on the 40ltr model but not the 60ltr or the 35ltr. He also said that when he gets his next order in, that the price is likely to go up by about £50.

I thought we lived in a world of deflation
Their prices are steep enough as it is IMHOA happy childhood ... is the worst possible preparation for life.
And Sterling is getting stronger at present so you'd expect prices to drop. I really can't believe the prices of these things - my fridge, freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer came to less than the price of one of these new.I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

part of the reason price increases are hitting us all now is that the delivery he is taking now will have been pre ordered months ago, when rates were very different, the prices the factory's give to the brands and the knock on from production to customer reverberate for months and will take some time to level itself out,
prices SHOULD stabalise on goods made in far east OR US over the next 6 months to a year, BUT there is nothing to say that the manufacturers OR importers will choose to lwer the prices to their original levels...one wife.......livid

Sorry for the late arrival New here as you can see from my post count. (just got my V8 HSE yesterday)
I would be interested in a 60 if possible - was looking at these for my last 4x4 but never got round to it. GB type pricing would definitiely get rid of the procrastination factor.
Thanks
Dom
PS, who is the chap (beer monster I assume from reading the thread ) in Derby who could be approached to fit the 2nd battery? 20 miles up the road from me so very handy indeed.
