Engel Fridges

Ive been looking at getting a Engel Fridge but would like to know what others are using and what the differences are between the models.
I spotted this model ENGEL MT60 60LTR 12/24/230v FRIDGE/FREEZER. Is anyone else using this model, if so whats it like Question It seems to be a good price for its size compared to the rest. Is it a discontinued model or just a special offer Question Some seem to have a digital display but this doesn't, does that really matter Confused

I will carry on researching but guessed this would be the best place Thumbs Up

I have a Engel fridge, we bought it secondhand about 15yrs ago and it's still going strong!
As you put down it's a Fridge / Freezer - believe me a very good freezer too!
I'm in Australia and have not had to turn up the fridge higher than 25% of the dial, the last 25% being freezer.
Mine is one of the older style without the digital display - don't need that, better simple and reliable. Wink

Me = 3

Was looking at the Digital MT35 beeing £575, but I'm sure that a deal could be struck if we had A) a larger number and B) some MT45's in the mix Thumbs Up

I'm happy to pass on the emails / details. But I am too busy to sort another group buy right now Shocked

So everyone is happy with there Engel. Why the price difference between the 60ltr that I'm looking at Confused is it just the digital display. I will ring and speak to someone tomorrow to try and find out.
As you say Rich it may well be a case of just one less thing to go wrong Wink

That seems expensive. Paid £200 less for mine. 32l fits under boot cover. Great for family. Has digital temp display.

Is this 60 Ltr one a new one? Basically, the bigger they are the more they cost. Digital display is very useful - you can easily freeze your beer Shocked Seperate displays can be bought, though.

It's a good price, guessing it's the end of the old model. Designed to be hard wired though....

Bought mine from this place too (MT35), would have got a 45 ideally
