Engine and under bonnet cleaning |
|
Hi All
I want to clean the engine and under the bonnet. Is it safe to use a TFR and water at low pressure without doing harm to the electrics. Or is there any precautions I should follow.
Thanks Roger

There are come control modules behind the battery. If you get water into these you will need to replace them.
So be very careful with a jet wash. Dealer said they have replaced a couple after engine jet wash. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

TFR is also corrosive and maybe not the best plan
I would use an engine degreaser that isnt so harsh
