The oil needs to meet Ford spec WSS-M2C-913B or C. any of the oils listed below (in rough order of ascending price) would do the job
Gulf Formula FE 5w-30 WSS-M2C-913A/B ACEA A1/B1
Fuchs TITAN XTR 5w-30 WSS-M2C-913B ACEA A5/B5
Fuchs TITAN Supersyn F 5w-30 WSS-M2C-913C ACEA A5/B5
Shell Helix HX7 AF 5w-30 WSS-M2C-913A/B ACEA A1/B1
Mobil Super 3000 X1 FE 5w-30 WSS-M2C-913C ACEA A5/B5
Gulf Formula FS 5w-30 WSS-M2C-913C ACEA A5/B5
Castrol Magnatec 5W-30 A1 WSS-M2C-913A-C ACEA A5/B5
Motul 8100 Eco-nergy 5W-30 WSS-M2C-913C ACEA A5/B5
Millers Oils XF Longlife ECO 5w-30 WSS-M2C-913B/C ACEA A5/B5
Motul SPECIFIC 913C 5W-30 WSS-M2C-913C ACEA A5/B5
Personal Choice would be Mobil 3000, Castrol Magnatec or Motul 8100 depending on best price.
Doesn’t need to be stop start, but will not do any harm, just costs more It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

I think you will find magnatec A5 is their top spec of that oil hence the reaosn they have added on the stop/start bit, which wasnt there a year or so ago, its all about marketing.

Found it a mindfield when I was looking for engine oil
In the end I used the one from Mannol 5W30 SN/CF Fully Synthetic Engine Oil C1/C2

I use Asda own brand in the red carton, Ford spec and meets the LR grade requirement, and best of all its £18 for 5 litres.

Oil is pretty much about religion as... religion itself
Myself, I used Shell Helix Ultra Professional AF 5W-30 the other day in my V8.

If you’ve got a DPF that is the wrong specification oil, you need AF-L.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
