Engine down on power Engine System Fault message

Have a problem with me 06 discovery 3 engine system fault message on in dash intermitant when its on no power from engine under load. Been to main dealer and told its egr valve bank 1 but i have both egr valves blanked off for last six months.
Intercooler hose has been replaced any other things i should look at or try before i hand it to s###stones as i know theyll just start chucking parts at it to try and fix it.

Mines just been in for similar, turbo linkage sorted as turbo error message. Now IC changed as well it's a case of wait and see if faults reoccur. Also changed fuel filter. Only time will tell if it's fixed it.

Welcome to the wacky world of running an old LR, i.e. a D3 out of warranty! Sad

Change the fuel filter first. Very common for them to block up, and restrict the fuel flow, which shuts the engine down to protect it. And much cheaper than a turbo

Alternatively, get the fault codes read, but the above is cheaper if you can do it yourself Thumbs Up My D3 Build Thread

That what i done yesterday but went out this morning to bleed and finish off and cant get any fuel pressure at the bleed port under the bonnet have double checked the colour codes ect on the filter taken it off and refitted it but the same turn key on till dash lights come on depress bleed valve and nothing
