EPB Shoe adjustment

I've just changed my Rear discs and pads and am now seeking s bit of advice.

Does anyone know if it is possible to drive the EPB actuator to the 'mount' position if you don't have LR's IDS gear?

The reason I ask is that my EPB is not holding like it did (the car will move at idle in D now with the epb on Sad

I followed the official LR adjustment procedure but did the shoe adjustment in 'servicing' mode and I'm wondering if 'Mount' mode enables the actuator to take up the slack introduced by backing off the adjuster 8 clicks but 'servicing' mode won't.

I haven't done the bedding in bit yet cos I don't want to Censored anything up if the initial adjustment is wrong!

I do it day in, day out, and never put the cars into mount position.

If you have backed it off 8 clicks, it should be fine. Just needs the shoes bedded into the new discs Thumbs Up
